Armed Police Hunt Former Soldier Over Schoolboy Murder
Armed officers have surrounded the home of Terrance Glover, a former soldier wanted for the shocking murder of 12-year-old Harley. The schoolboy was deliberately mowed down outside his primary school in Loughton this afternoon.
Tragic Death Outside Loughton School
Shortly after 3.20pm on Willingale Road, near Debden Park High School, police rushed to reports of a serious collision involving multiple casualties. Sadly, young Harley was pronounced dead after being taken to hospital.
Essex Police said: “Our thoughts are with Harley’s family, friends, and all those affected by this tragedy. This has been an incredibly difficult day for the local community.” They urged the public to show kindness and respect the privacy of those involved.
Murder Probe Underway – Suspect Still At Large
Police believe the collision was deliberate and have launched a full murder investigation. Officers are also probing a possible link to another incident nearby.
Authorities have named 51-year-old local man Terry Glover from Loughton as a person of interest. Searches are underway for Glover and a silver Ford KA (registration LS08 OKW).
