Kent Police were called out early Thursday morning after a grim discovery in Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells.

Officers arrived just before 5am following reports of a body found near the boating lake. An active investigation is now underway.

Shocked Locals Find Park Sealed Off

Regular early-morning dog walkers were stunned to find the Pembury Road entrance taped off with police scene tape. A blue and white forensic tent stood by the lakeside.

“It was pretty unnerving,” said one local who asked to remain anonymous. “I saw three officers carrying a tent and poles down to the lake. I usually get out early with my dog, but today it was all cordoned off with police cars and a forensic van parked in the lot.”

Police Seal Lifted, Enquiry Ongoing

The police cordon was removed just before 10.30am, but questions remain. Kent Police have been approached for comment as the investigation continues.
