Sussex Police Hunt Man Over Rape in Brighton Flat
Sussex Police are on the trail of a man after a late teen girl reported a rape at a flat on Western Road in Brighton. The horrific attack allegedly happened in the early hours of Tuesday, 5 September.

The victim came forward the very next day, setting off an urgent investigation. Specialist officers are supporting her through this traumatic ordeal.
“A thorough and painstaking investigation is underway into this incident,” said Detective Inspector Cheryl Lewendon.
Distinctive Orange Bike Used to ID Suspect
CCTV footage shows a man believed to be involved near Western Road Food and Wine just before midnight on Monday, 4 September. He was seen with a distinctive orange bike.
