Police in Ashford are on the hunt after a woman was attacked on Maidstone Road just before 3pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. A man suddenly jumped on her back as she walked by, but when confronted, he bolted fast. Thankfully, the woman escaped unharmed.

The brazen attack happened in full view of the street, leaving locals shaken. Officers have now released CCTV images of the mystery man, hoping someone will tip them off.
