Teen Stabbed in Early Morning Attack in Crawley
Police are hunting for witnesses after a stabbing on Bewbush Drive, Crawley, last month. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday, 13 January, between 3am and 4am.
Attack Unfolded During Bicycle Ride
A 19-year-old man was cycling along Bewbush Drive when another male on a bike approached him from behind. After a brief exchange, the victim was stabbed in the side. The attacker then sped off towards the local Bewbush Drive shops.
Victim Escapes and Seeks Help
Despite his injury, the young man managed to leave the scene and made his way to Mowbray Road for assistance. Police describe the suspect’s bike as a 123 adorned with black decals.
Police Appeal for Information
Officers are urging anyone with information about the stabbing or the suspect’s identity to come forward to help with their investigation.
