Man in His 30s Brutally Attacked and Car Burnt Out in Late-Night Agony
Police rushed to Back Percy Street at 10.25pm on Saturday, April 1st after reports of a man in his 30s being viciously attacked. The victim suffered multiple puncture wounds to his legs and body.
Adding to the horror, his silver Audi A4 was stolen during the assault. The car was later found torched on Howards Way around 1.50am Sunday morning. Officers have recovered the vehicle and are carrying out forensic tests.
Investigation Kicks Off with House-to-House, CCTV, and Witness Checks
Detective Inspector Amy Smith confirmed the probe is in early stages. “We’re piecing together what happened,” she said.
Police are canvassing the area, reviewing CCTV footage, and talking to witnesses to crack the case.

DI Smith urged anyone who saw the car being set ablaze on Howards Way to come forward. “Your information could be vital,” she said.
