Elderly Man Seriously Hurt in Early Morning A3 Hit-and-Run
Police raced to the A3 near Rydal Gardens at 4.49am on Saturday, 31 July after reports of a collision between a car and an 82-year-old pedestrian.
The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition. His family has been informed.
Driver Stays at Scene, No Arrests Yet
The car driver stayed on-site and is cooperating with police enquiries. No one has been arrested so far.
Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to speak to other drivers who were in the area at the time.
