Teen Stabbed in Broad Daylight at Finsbury Park Sainsbury’s Carpark
Chaos erupted in a busy Finsbury Park carpark when a 15-year-old boy was found with serious stab wounds. Police were called at 4.32pm on Monday, 24 January after reports of a violent disturbance involving a group of youths outside Sainsbury’s on Williamson Road, N4.
Young Victim Fighting for Life in Hospital
The teenager was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service and remains in serious but stable condition. Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and attempted robbery. He is still in police custody.
Detective Pleads for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“This was a violent attack in the middle of a busy supermarket carpark. The young victim is extremely lucky to be alive,” said Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from North Area CID.
He urged anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward urgently. “If you witnessed the disturbance or have any information, I need to hear from you as a priority. Your details will be acted upon, and you can remain anonymous through Crimestoppers.”
Police Boost Patrols Amid Ongoing Investigation
An increased police presence has been deployed in the area following the stabbing. Crime scenes are still in place as enquiries continue.
