Rose Gold MacBook Stolen Through Open Kitchen Window
On Friday 20 January, between 9.30am and 5.30pm, a brazen burglary took place on Burns Street. The victim left their kitchen window open, and a Rose Gold MacBook was snatched from a table inside.
Thieves Traced, Laptop Recovered in Noel Street Raid
Detectives quickly tracked the stolen MacBook to an address on Noel Street. Officers found the laptop and learned it had been sold to the occupants by a stranger on the street. Two men at the property were arrested on charges of burglary and handling stolen goods.
Police Appeal for Help Finding Suspect
Investigating officer Detective Constable Colin Kirkup urged the public for assistance. He said, “We are committed to a fast response as we know how upsetting burglary can be.”
“Burglary is a distressing crime, so please keep doors and windows locked, especially where valuables like laptops and phones are accessible. We have released an image of a man who may be connected. If you recognise him or are the man in the picture, contact us immediately.”
