Teen Stabbed Outside Shop in Broad Daylight – Police Hunt Masked Attackers
17-Year-Old Victim Stabbed on High Street
Just before 5pm on Thursday, March 9, a shocking stabbing unfolded on the High Street. A 17-year-old boy was attacked while chatting with four men outside a local shop. He suffered stab wounds and was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.
Suspects Flee at Speed Towards Green Street
The assailants are believed to be known to the victim. Witnesses describe them as black males, all dressed in dark clothing. Two wore black balaclavas. One, possibly riding an electric scooter, stood out with large afro-style hair and a dark green jacket paired with jeans. After the attack, the group sped off towards Green Street.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detective Inspector Pete Smith from Medway CID said, “An investigation is underway into this incident. Officers are actively following up enquiries in the area.”
He added, “We urge anyone who saw what happened or has information to come forward. Drivers with dashcams and residents with CCTV are especially encouraged to check their footage.”
