Manhunt Underway for Suspect After Fatal Stabbing in Tower Hamlets
Police are urgently searching for 20-year-old Kwabena Boateng, last seen leaving a hotel on Commercial Road, Tower Hamlets, on the afternoon of 22 September. Boateng, from Dod Street, E14, stands 6ft 2in, medium build, with short hair and a London accent.
Fatal Fight Erupts in East Ferry Road
Officers were called to East Ferry Road, E14, at 8.26pm on Tuesday, 21 September following reports of a group brawl. They found 33-year-old Mohamed Ensser from Leyton suffering stab wounds.
Despite CPR from officers and treatment by London Ambulance Service paramedics, Mohamed was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.52pm. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a neck stab wound and hypovolemic shock.
Murder Probe Launched – Police Seek Public’s Help
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command has launched a murder investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith said: “We would urgently like to speak to Kwabena Boateng in connection with this investigation.”
He urged the public not to approach Boateng but to call 999 immediately if they see him.
“If you have any information, images, or footage related to this incident, please come forward. No detail is too small — it could be vital to cracking this case.”
