Teen E-Fit Released After Woman Assaulted in Hither Green

Detectives hunting a teenager over a shocking attack in Hither Green have unveiled an e-fit to help track him down. The assault happened around 1:30pm on Thursday, 28 September, as a woman in her 40s walked along Brownhill Road, SE6.

Teen Tried To Snatch Bag, Then Head-Butted Victim

The woman was approached by two lads. One tried to grab her bag, but she clung on tight. Furious, the suspect — believed to be 16 to 18 years old — head-butted her. Police are desperate to find this teenager.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“This was a very distressing incident for the woman involved,” said PC Hayley Sheehan, leading the probe. “We’ve been investigating but haven’t identified a suspect yet.”

PC Sheehan is calling on anyone who was in the area that day or who knows the young man in the e-fit to get in touch. The police believe a crucial breakthrough could come from public tips.
