Tragic cyclist, 61, killed in New Forest crash
A beloved cyclist has died after a collision with a car in the New Forest. Steven Jones, 61, of Chapel Lane, Blackfield, passed away following the crash at around 6.45pm on Saturday, 12 August.
Family Pays Heartfelt Tribute
Steven’s family today paid a moving tribute. They said: “Steve was a loving husband and had recently become a grandfather for the first time. He will be very much missed by his family and friends.”
Crash Details and Investigation
The collision involved a Seat Ibiza travelling along Hilltop from Fawley towards Beaulieu. Thankfully, no one else was injured.
Police continue to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
