14-Year-Old Boy Fatally Stabbed on Woolwich Bus

A shocking stabbing on a London bus has left a 14-year-old boy dead this afternoon in Woolwich.

Tragedy on Route 472

Police were alerted at 2.28pm on Tuesday, 7 January after reports of a stabbing on a Route 472 bus on Woolwich Church Road, close to the A205 South Circular Road junction.

Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. Paramedics fought to save the teenager, but sadly he died shortly after their arrival.

Crime Scene and Investigation Underway

Police have sealed off the area with cordons and road closures as the investigation continues. No arrests have been made so far.

Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
