Tree Smashes Onto London Bus in Southgate Chaos
Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade raced to the scene after a massive tree crashed onto a bus in Southgate.
Special Rescue Teams Called In
Emergency crews arrived equipped with extra cutters and spreaders to tackle the wreckage. Paramedics and police were also on site to assist.
Road Shutdown Causes Rush Hour Mayhem
Chequers Way was shut in both directions following the crash at just after 4.20pm on Saturday. Authorities haven’t yet confirmed if anyone was hurt.
