Emergency services rushed to Heathfield, East Sussex, after a light aircraft slammed into a field this morning.

Firefighters Battle Blaze With Foam

At 11:05am, crews from Heathfield, Uckfield, Battle, and Wadhurst raced to Herrings Lane following reports of the crash. Firefighters used 1 in 7 foam to tackle the flames sparked by the impact.

Police, Paramedics, and HART Team Join Rescue

Alongside the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and a specialist HART team from South East Coast Ambulance were also on scene. The incident remains ongoing as of now.
