Man Arrested After Crawley House Firearm Scare
Police scrambled to Irving Walk, Crawley, on Sunday evening (11 October) after reports of a man entering a house armed with a firearm.
Firearms Officers Seal Off Road
Firearms officers swiftly descended on the scene, shutting down the road to contain the situation. The tension eased when a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm in a public place.
No Injuries as Police Act Fast
The suspect was taken into custody without incident. Thankfully, no one was harmed during the scare.
Inspector Will Keating-Jones said: “We had a significant police presence in the area and were able to swiftly make an arrest. This was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.”
