Last Message Reveals Horror Inside ‘Metal Coffin’
One of the 39 people found dead in a container lorry in Essex on Wednesday morning was Pham Thi Tra My. She sent a desperate text at 4:30am on October 23, 2019, revealing her terrifying ordeal.
Pictured here, Pham was just 26 and from Nghen, Can Loc, Ha Tinh, Vietnam. A family contact told us she travelled to China, planning to reach England via France. In her heart-breaking message to her mother, she wrote:
“I’m sorry Mom. My path abroad doesn’t succeed. Mom, I love you so much! I’m dying because I can’t breathe… I’m from Nghen, Can Loc, Ha Tinh, Vietnam… I am sorry, Mom.”
Family Pleads for Identification Help
Pham’s family fears she is among the eight women and 31 men discovered dead inside the sealed refrigerated container, described as a “metal coffin.” The last message was sent at 10:28pm on Tuesday — just as the truck journeyed from Belgium to Britain.
They have made a desperate appeal to help identify their daughter and find out what happened during the horrific trip.
Police Probe Intensifies: Driver ‘Mo’ Robinson Faces Charges
Police are racing against the clock to decide if lorry driver Mo Robinson, 25, will face murder charges, be bailed, or released. Robinson picked up the refrigerated container on Tuesday – a load that had made the same journey days earlier from Belgium to Britain.
Two more arrests followed police raids in Cheshire, targeting former owners of the tractor unit Robinson drove when arrested.
Victims Transported for Post-Mortems
