Two Men Shot Dead in Lambeth – Police Launch Investigation
Police were scrambled to Railton Road, SE24, at around 7:50am on Sunday, 30 October, following reports of gunshots ringing out in the early hours.
Gun Battle Claims Two Lives
Officers, including armed units, arrived on the scene alongside London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. Two men were found with serious injuries. Despite frantic efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their exact injuries have not been disclosed.
Next of kin have yet to be notified. Formal identification is still pending, with post-mortem exams scheduled to take place soon.
Crime Scene and Road Closures
Several roads around the area remain closed as crime scenes are being preserved. Locals can expect a heightened police presence while inquiries continue. No arrests have been made so far.
