Five Men Arrested After Brutal Brawl Leaves Young Man Fighting for Life in Kent
Late-Night Clash at Minster-on-Sea
Kent Police have swooped on five men following a violent street fight that seriously injured a man in his 20s. The savage scrap erupted just before midnight on Friday, December 20, at the junction of Minster Road and Sunnyside Avenue, Minster-on-Sea.
Officers arrived to find the victim unconscious after a brutal clash between two groups. Witnesses say one gang was armed with baseball bats. The young victim, out with two friends at the time, was rushed to a London hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Suspects Held and Investigation Underway
The five suspects, aged 18 to 42 and local to the area, are now in custody as Kent Police launch a full probe into the incident.
Appeal for Witnesses and Crucial Footage
Detectives believe the fight began hours earlier inside The Highlander pub on High Street, Minster—between 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM. They’re urgently calling for anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward. Witnesses who saw the earlier confrontation or the violent outbreak on Minster Road are also asked to help.
