Chaos struck Ravensthorpe’s Park Road just after 10pm last night when police rushed to a violent scene. A man was slashed with a machete, sparking panic in the quiet street.
Police Strike Fast: Five Suspects Busted with Air Support
Armed officers swooped in, arresting three men immediately. The hunt didn’t stop there.
Thanks to the National Police Air Service, two more suspects were tracked down in a nearby car and arrested on the spot.
Police seized an arsenal including a discarded axe and a terrifying Rambo-style knife.
Injured Victim Treated and Released
The victim suffered a nasty leg injury. He was rushed to hospital but released shortly after treatment, thankfully not seriously hurt.
Five in Custody as Kirklees CID Probe Deepens
