Detectives are on the trail of a stolen gold chain snatched from a Strood home. Kent Police want the public’s help to crack this case wide open.
Gold Chain Stolen in Broad Daylight
The theft took place on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, at a house on Pelican Close, Strood. The precious chain vanished between 11am and 12.30pm.
Two Suspects Nabbed and Bailed
Kent Police acted fast, arresting a 25-year-old man with no fixed address and a local 25-year-old woman, both suspected of the theft. They’ve since been released on bail as investigations press on.
Police Plea: Speak Up if You Know Anything
“Enquiries are ongoing to locate this missing chain. We are urging anyone who may have information about the theft or may have been offered the chain for sale to call our appeal line,” said PC Alanya Spiller.
