Body Found in Hook Woodland Sparks Police Stand-Off

Police are still at the scene in Hook, Hampshire, after a man’s body was found in undergrowth near Wild Herons this morning. The death is currently unexplained, prompting a major investigation.

Road Shutdown and Heavy Police Presence

Officers were called to Griffin Way South just after 8.30am on Sunday, December 4. The road remains shut, with a large police presence securing the area all morning.

Public Urged to Steer Clear

Residents and drivers are being warned to avoid the area while investigations continue. Griffin Way South is closed to vehicles trying to access the M3 Motorway at Junction 6.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time,” Hampshire Police confirmed.
