In the dead of night between 11.45pm on August 4 and 9.45pm on August 7, a burglar sneaked into a home near St John’s Road while the owners were away. The intruder reportedly climbed in through a skylight.
Xbox and Car Keys Nabbed, Stolen Car Used for Getaway
The crook didn’t stop at petty theft – he made off with an Xbox and car keys. Using the keys, he drove off in the victim’s Mitsubishi Outlander, sparking a frantic search.
Stolen SUV Recovered, Police Launch Appeal
Thankfully, officers tracked down and recovered the abandoned Mitsubishi nearby. Now, they’ve released CCTV images of a man who could hold the key to cracking the case.
