Dog Walker Unconscious After Brutal Unprovoked Punch in Maidstone

A dog walker was left unconscious after a shocking unprovoked attack by a motorcycle passenger near Maidstone. The vicious assault happened on Boxley Road, Penenden Heath, on Friday, 29 April 2022.

Motorcycle Crew Causes Havoc – Then Attack

  • The victim was walking his dog around 2pm when he spotted a motorcycle riding dangerously on a road closed for repairs.
  • The rider was doing wheelies and driving recklessly, drawing the victim’s attention.
  • When the victim raised his arms in objection, the motorcycle stopped.
  • The passenger jumped off, punched the dog walker in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head hard on the pavement.
  • Both men then sped off, leaving the victim unconscious.

Police Launch Hunt for Masked Attacker

PC Paul Otter from Maidstone CID slammed the attack as “entirely unprovoked” and warned it could have caused much worse injuries. He revealed: “The bike had no number plate and was seen fleeing towards Pendenden Heath.”

Investigations are ongoing with house-to-house enquiries and a search of local CCTV underway. Officers are urging anyone in Boxley Road and nearby areas to check doorbell cameras or private CCTV for any footage that may help catch these thugs.

Suspect Description & How to Help

  • Both suspects are young men, likely late teens to mid-20s, dressed all in black.
  • The attacker wore a black balaclava, is white, approx. 5’7” tall, with striking light blue eyes.
