Man Murdered Stopping Car Theft in Beswick
Detectives have arrested two men following the brutal murder of a man on Olympic Street, Beswick, Greater Manchester. The shocking incident took place on Saturday, March 16.
Valiant Efforts Fail to Save Victim
Just before 11am, Greater Manchester Police rushed to reports of an unresponsive male on Olympic Street. Despite heroic efforts from emergency services and brave passersby, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspects Held Over Fatal Attack
Police reveal the victim was killed while trying to stop his car being stolen. On Sunday, March 17, a 35-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 43-year-old was detained for allegedly assisting an offender. Both suspects remain in custody and face intensive questioning.
