Teen Mob Robs and Beats 15-Year-Old in Broad Daylight
At 4.30pm on Thursday, March 4, a 15-year-old boy was targeted by a gang of 10 teenagers while walking along St Aidan’s Way.
Demand for Phone Ends in Assault
One youth demanded the boy’s mobile phone. When he refused, the group launched an assault and stole the phone before fleeing the scene.
One Arrest Made, Investigation Ongoing
A 15-year-old local lad was later arrested on suspicion of robbery but released pending further inquiries.
PC Amit Dadwal said: “Our officers are reviewing CCTV and following up leads. We urge anybody with information to come forward.”
