Armed Robbery Shakes Shepherds Bush Jewellery Store

The Met Police are on the hunt after a brazen armed robbery at a jewellery store on Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush (W12). The early morning heist happened on 29th January at 3:52am, sparking a major emergency response.

Road Chaos as Police Block Uxbridge Road

Both directions of Uxbridge Road were shut at the Hopgood Street junction as emergency services swarmed the scene. Officers continue their investigations, with the area remaining sealed off.

Bus Routes Plunged Into Chaos

The closure has thrown several bus routes into disarray. Commuters face diversions and delays including:

  • 72 & N72 Eastbound: Detoured via Bloemfontein Road, Askew Road, Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush Green, then back to Uxbridge Road.
  • 72 & N72 Westbound: Routed through Shepherds Bush Road, Goldhawk Road, Askew Road, Uxbridge Road, and Wormholt Road.
  • 207, N207 & SL8 Eastbound: Re-routed via Askew Road, Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush Green before returning to Uxbridge Road.

The Met urges all to plan alternative routes while they hunt the robbers.
