Life-Threatening Stabbing in East Preston Sparks Police Hunt
West Sussex police have launched an urgent investigation after a man was stabbed in East Preston.
Violent Assault on Sea Road
Officers were flooded with calls reporting an assault near Littlehampton at around 4pm on Thursday, 15 April. A man in his 20s suffered a life-threatening stab wound to the abdomen and was airlifted to hospital in critical condition.
Suspects on the Run
Two suspects fled the scene in East Preston. Police, backed by the Sussex NPAS helicopter team, are hunting for the attackers.
“We are conducting fast-time enquiries to identify the suspects,” said Detective Inspector Alan Pack. “The victim is critical, and we are determined to catch those responsible.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Patrols in the area have been stepped up as enquiries continue. Police urge anyone who saw the assault or noticed anything suspicious to contact them immediately.
