Tragic Death of 59-Year-Old After Tonbridge Road Crash

A 59-year-old man has died in hospital a month after being hit by a car on Tonbridge Road, Barming.

Fatal Hit-And-Run Near Esso Petrol Station

The crash happened on Wednesday, 6 November, near the Esso petrol station. The victim was struck by a white Toyota H-CR as he crossed the A26 by the Stanford Drive junction.

The car was travelling from maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone towards Barming at the time.

The injured man was airlifted to a London hospital but sadly passed away on Friday, police confirmed today.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses

Serious collision detectives are investigating and want anyone who saw the incident to come forward.

“Anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam or CCTV footage should contact us,” said a Kent Police spokesperson. “Call 01622 798538 quoting reference SM/DGC/108/24 or email [email protected].”
