London New Year Stab Horror: Man, 25, Hospitalised After Early Morning Attack Near Bond Street
Stabbing Shocks Central London
A 25-year-old man was rushed to hospital after a stabbing near Bond Street Underground Station in central London, just after midnight on New Year’s Day. The violent attack unfolded around 4:04 AM at the busy junction of South Malton Street and Oxford Street.
Emergency teams from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the Metropolitan Police sprang into action after reports of men armed with knives sent alarm bells ringing.
A LAS spokesperson confirmed, “We were called at 4:06 AM to reports of a stabbing. Our crews treated a man at the scene before taking him to the hospital. The first of our crews arrived in four minutes.” The victim’s condition remains unknown.
Police Seal Off Crime Scene, Hunt Suspects
Police quickly cordoned off the area to gather evidence as a probe into the shocking stabbing got underway. So far, no arrests have been made.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “An investigation is underway, and we urge anyone with information to contact us by calling 101, quoting reference 2175/01JAN. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.”
