A 94-year-old man is under investigation after a deadly smash on the A259 at Wick, Littlehampton, early Thursday morning (1 August).

The tragic crash, involving a car and a 48-year-old cyclist, happened just before 6.30am. The cyclist sadly lost his life. The elderly driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop but has now been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
