CCTV Snaps Man Linked to Canterbury Pub Assault
Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to over a serious assault in Canterbury. The attack happened at The Westgate Inn on North Lane, and officers believe this man could hold key information.
Violent Attack Inside Pub
The victim, a man in his 20s, was heading into the bar with a friend when he was attacked around 10pm on Sunday, 17 March 2019. He suffered multiple facial cuts and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Detectives Renew Appeal for Witnesses
After reviewing CCTV footage, police released several images believed to show the same suspect. PC Gareth Foreman said:
“Thank you to all who have come forward to assist with our enquiries. If there is anyone else who saw anything and hasn’t yet spoken to us, or knows the identity of the man pictured, we ask you to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/50625/19.”
Anyone with info is urged to come forward immediately.
