Man Sexually Assaults Teen Girl on London to Leeds Train
Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl on a train from London King’s Cross heading north to Leeds. The attack happened around 6:30pm on Sunday, April 14, as the train passed through Wakefield Westgate station.
Disturbing Incident Unfolds on Busy Train
The man sat next to the girl and started a conversation before he sexually assaulted her. He then got off the train at Wakefield Westgate, leaving the terrified victim behind.
British Transport Police Appeal for Help
The British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of the suspect. They believe this man may have vital information about the attack.
“Officers would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation,” said a BTP spokesperson.
