Student nurse Owami Davies, who vanished from south London nearly eight weeks ago, has been found safe and well in Hampshire. The 24-year-old from Grays, Essex, was discovered after a high-profile search involving police and public appeals.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the positive outcome following an intense and ongoing investigation. “This is clearly the outcome we hoped for the family of missing lady Owami Davies,” a spokesperson said.

Owami was located outside London in Hampshire and is now in the care of specialist officers. “I can confidently say she is safe and well,” the police added.
