Murder Probe Launched After Woman’s Body Found in Richmond Garden
Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of 34-year-old Laureline Garcia-Bertaux was discovered in a shallow grave in Richmond.
Woman Reported Missing After Failing to Show for Work
Laureline, from Richmond, was reported missing after she didn’t turn up for work on Monday, 4 March. Officers found the body late evening on Wednesday, 7 March, buried in a garden on Darell Road, Kew.
Family Informed, Forensics on the Case
Although formal identification is still pending, Laureline’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. A forensic crime scene has been set up, and a post-mortem exam will be carried out soon.
No Arrests Yet – Police Seek Information
The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command is leading the investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.
