Sham Water Board Trickster Targets 80-Year-Old in Cosham
Police want to track down a pair of low-life thieves who preyed on an 80-year-old man in Cosham last November. On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 9, between 4pm and 4:30pm, one of the crooks knocked on a flat in Medina Road posing as a water board official claiming he needed to check the water pressure.
Two Men Team Up and Swipe £360
While the pensioner was distracted by the fake water man, a second suspect sneaked into the property and made off with £360 in cash. The duo then fled the scene, walking away together towards Cow Lane.
