CCTV Snap Released After Shady Burglaries in Teynham
Detectives have dropped a fresh CCTV image in the hunt for a crook linked to two sneaky burglaries on Station Road, Teynham.
Doorstep Trickery Ends in Theft
On Monday 3 July 2023, a man showed up claiming to check smoke alarms. The resident let him in, but after he left, cash was mysteriously missing.
Later that same day, a pensioner on the same street was duped by a man pretending to inspect the electrics. When he’d gone, the victim realised their purse had vanished.
Police Search Intensifies
Detective Constable Emma Laimbeer of Kent Crime Squad said: “We’re following up various leads and have released a new CCTV image of the same man we want to identify.”
