£8,000 Worth of Equipment Stolen in Brazen Theft
The theft took place sometime between 5pm on Monday, 7 March, and 8am on Thursday, 8 March. Thieves targeted high-value equipment, estimated to be worth around £8,000.
Police Hunt for Clues After Lengthy Dismantling Job
Detective Constable Eamonn Ryan from the CID Proactive Unit revealed the scale of the robbery. “It would have taken several hours and specialist tools to dismantle the parts,” he said. “A large vehicle was also needed to haul away the equipment, so someone must have seen something.”
Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
DC Ryan urged locals to come forward with any info. “Our enquiries are ongoing. If anyone saw suspicious activity, please get in touch. We also ask anyone with dashcams or private CCTV to check their footage for anything unusual.”
