Man in 50s Assaulted in Shocking High Street Mugging
On Friday, March 17, a man in his 50s was attacked outside a bookmaker on the High Street at around 8.30pm. A gang of about 12 young men, along with a young woman carrying a child, approached him and demanded money.
Feeling threatened, the victim handed over cash. But the ordeal didn’t end there. The group allegedly punched him, knocking him to the ground, and then kicked him. He suffered cuts and bruises in the violent scare.
