Firearms Squad Storms Northolt Home in Deadly Weapons Snatch
In a dramatic early morning raid on Thursday, 29 April, specialist firearms officers swooped on a Northolt residence. Three suspects, aged 19, 32, and 42, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a prohibited weapon with intent to endanger life.
Three Held and Locked Up
The trio were taken into custody and remain held by police as investigations ramp up. The Met’s crackdown on illegal guns shows no signs of slowing.
Detective Warns of Deadly Consequences
“The damage that a weapon like this can cause can be life-changing, if not life-ending,” said Detective Inspector Jim Casey of the Specialist Crime Command. “Recovering this weapon is another win for the Met Police who continue to be relentless in pursuing those involved in firearms offences. There’s absolutely no reason anyone in this country should be possessing such a dangerous piece of metal.”
Call for Public Help to Snuff Out Gun Crime
DI Casey urged the public to come forward with any information on hidden or moved lethal guns in London. Tips can be reported directly to police or anonymously via 0800 555 111.
