Police Hunt Reckless Vauxhall Driver Spotted with Fake Blue Light
Chaos erupted on Parley Lane at 8.40pm on Monday, 18 April 2022, as a dark-coloured Vauxhall tore through the area at breakneck speed. Witnesses reported the car weaving wildly and overtaking other vehicles dangerously.
Fake Blue Light Sparks Confusion
Eyewitnesses also spotted a mysterious blue flashing light inside the Vauxhall, raising alarm bells. However, police confirm the vehicle was not an emergency services car, suggesting the blue light was being misused to impersonate official vehicles.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
PC Sam Kinsella of East Dorset Police said:
“We are carrying out enquiries into this dangerous driving incident. Anyone who witnessed the event but hasn’t yet spoken to us should get in touch immediately.”
He added:
“If you were driving nearby at the time and have dashcam footage, please review it carefully. Your footage could provide vital clues to assist our investigation.”
