Person Freed After Serious Head-On Crash on A28 Near Tonbridge
A driver was dramatically freed from their car after a head-on collision on the A28 Staplehurst Road in Marden, near Tonbridge.
Firefighters Use Jaws of Life to Rescue Victim
Fire crews deployed hydraulic rescue gear to cut the roof off one vehicle and release the trapped occupant. Paramedics assessed the casualty at the scene before whisking them away by air ambulance.
Other Drivers Treated as Precaution
The two people in the other car were taken to hospital for precautionary checks. Kent Police also attended the crash, investigating the cause.
