Two Arrested as Inquiry Intensifies

A 54-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both local to Southall, are in custody on suspicion of murder. The man also faces allegations of preventing a lawful burial. Police continue to question both as the investigation unfolds.

Police Plea to Residents

Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said:

“Family liaison officers are supporting Michael’s family at this distressing time, and my thoughts remain with them.

We are working tirelessly to gather evidence and uncover what led to Michael’s death.

I urge local residents to study the released images carefully and consider if they have seen Michael since Monday, 24 February – alone or with others.”
