Heartbreaking Memorial Vandalised Twice
A roadside memorial built by a grieving family to honour two children killed in a crash has been targeted by vandals—twice.
Flowers Torn Up, Tributes Scattered
Police revealed they received two reports of criminal damage at the site. The first hit in April. The second occurred sometime between July 11 and 23.
Officers say flowers and memorial items were ripped from the display and tossed around, leaving the family devastated.
“These incidents have caused an incredible amount of distress for the family,” said PC Ruth Wright. “This is obviously a very sentimental site for them—a place to remember their two tragically lost children.”
