Police hunt crooks after teen threatened and robbed in broad daylight

Teen held up at knifepoint in Stapleford

A 17-year-old boy was threatened with violence and forced to hand over his phone, earphones, and bike while walking home from work.

The brazen robbery happened just before 2.30pm on Sunday, 30 October, on Bardills Island near Brian Clough Way in Stapleford.

The terrified youngster was left shaken and without his belongings.

Police release CCTV images

Officers have now released images of a man and woman, believed to hold vital clues to the crime.

Detective Casey Messenger urged the public to come forward: “This was a scary incident but thankfully the teenager was not injured. We are piecing everything together and need help identifying these two.”
