Teen Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run Moped Crash

A 17-year-old moped rider was left seriously injured after a collision with a cyclist at a busy Norfolk junction.

Crash Sparks Police Hunt for Cyclist

The crash happened at 6.48pm at the junction of Spixworth Road and Chartwell Road. The teenager was on an orange Zontes ZT125 moped when he collided with a cyclist who failed to stop.

The cyclist, described as a man in his 40s to 50s, was seen riding a red bike heading down St Clements Hill after the crash.

Call for Witnesses as Police Investigate

The injured rider was rushed to Norfolk and norwich/" title="Norwich" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Norwich Hospital and remains there for further treatment.
