Sexual Assault Probe Underway in Margate
Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Margate. The victim was walking along Cumberland Road between 8.45pm and 10.15pm on Tuesday, 26 November 2019, when the incident happened.
Suspect Description Released
No arrests have been made yet. The suspect is described as:
- White male, aged 18-25
- About 5ft 5ins tall
- Slim build
- Wearing dark bottoms and a hooded top with white around the hood
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Although this incident happened at night, we believe there were several members of the public in the area who may have information that can help with our enquiries,” said PC Tremayne Law, leading the investigation.
“It may not have been obvious that an offence had taken place, but any information, no matter how small, could be crucial. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
