Tragic Crash on A31: Young Driver Dies Near Burley Exit
Early Morning Horror
Just before 4.20am on Saturday 15 April, police rushed to the A31 westbound near the Burley exit. Reports came in that a car had veered off the road.
Fatal Injuries
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Wimborne, was seriously hurt and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Specialist officers are supporting his grieving family.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are now begging anyone who saw the crash or the moments before it to come forward.
PS Chris Thompson of the Roads Policing Unit urged, “Did you see a grey Audi A3 heading westbound on the A31 just before 4.20am? Were you driving nearby? Maybe your dash cam caught something that could help our investigation.”
