Knife-Wielding Robber Hits North London Shop at Dawn

A man armed with a knife forced his way into a shop on Bounces Road, N9, at around 6:40am on Thursday, 25 March. He threatened staff before snatching cash and fleeing on foot through a nearby carpark.

Suspect Flees Through Carpark, No Injuries Reported

The robber escaped past Walbrook House and onto Devonshire Road. Luckily, no one was hurt during the terrifying raid.

Police Hunt Man in Navy Puffa and Tracksuit Bottoms

The suspect is described as a Black man, about 40 years old, slim to average build, standing between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall. He wore a black Covid facemask, had a black and greying beard, a navy blue puffa jacket, and blue tracksuit bottoms with white vertical stripes.

During the robbery, he also stole a staff member’s black ‘Hype’ rucksack to carry the stolen cash.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Missing Bag

“I am appealing to anyone who was in this area of Bounces Road this morning and saw a man fitting this description,” said Detective Constable Neil MacLeod of North Area CID. “We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have found the black ‘Hype’ rucksack stolen from a staff member. Have you seen this bag dumped somewhere? Please contact police immediately.”
